Trust Badge misuse signals

A Trust Badge is useful only when the customer can open the current Qubicbox record. Screenshots are not proof. Copied QR codes, wrong-domain embeds, and holder mismatches should pause the decision until the live record is checked.

screenshot-only

Screenshot-only badge

A badge was presented as an image or screenshot without a live Qubicbox record link.

Report this signal

wrong-domain

Wrong or unapproved domain

The badge appeared on a website, profile, or storefront that does not match the live Qubicbox record or approved domain.

Report this signal

copied-qr

Copied QR code

A QR code was reused, printed, forwarded, or displayed away from the holder context it should belong to.

Report this signal

revoked-still-displayed

Revoked badge still displayed

A suspended, expired, revoked, or withdrawn Trust Badge still appears to be used as current proof.

Report this signal

holder-mismatch

Holder mismatch

The holder name, profile, listing, invoice, or service claim does not match the live Qubicbox badge record.

Customer decision map

From badge claim to safe action

Treat the Trust Badge as a live route, not a decoration. The safest customer journey is to move from the visible claim to Qubicbox, compare the context, then report if anything does not match.

1

Badge claim

A badge appears on a profile, advert, invoice, packaging, social post, or marketplace listing.

Do not rely on the visible badge alone.

2

Live record check

The badge should open a Qubicbox record with the same badge ID and holder details.

Pause if it opens only an image, a file, or a non-Qubicbox website.

3

Context match

The live record should match the person, business, domain, profile, and evidence scope in front of you.

Compare before paying, booking, releasing goods, or accepting handover.

4

Report decision

Screenshots, copied QR codes, wrong domains, revoked status, and holder mismatch are reportable.

Send the badge ID, where you saw it, and what looked wrong.

Check before relying

The live record is the proof

Open the live Qubicbox record before paying, releasing goods, booking work, or accepting a handover.

Compare the badge ID, holder name, status, evidence scope, expiry, and last checked date.

Check that QR codes and static links open Qubicbox, not a copied image or unrelated website.

Report the concern if the badge is revoked, expired, suspended, copied, or shown on the wrong domain.

What to include

Report only what TrustOps needs

Keep reports useful and proportionate. Qubicbox needs enough context to triage the badge, not unnecessary personal data.

Badge ID or public badge link

Website, profile, advert, invoice, package, or social post where it appeared

What looked wrong, such as screenshot-only, wrong domain, copied QR, revoked status, or holder mismatch

Only the payment, booking, handover, or profile context needed for triage

Qubicbox reports should include only the information needed for triage: the badge ID or link, where the badge appeared, what looked wrong, and any transaction or handover context.
